The financing was led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, Sapphire Ventures, and Navitas Capital.
EliseAI will use the capital to automate more of its customers’ operations and to grow its engineering, deployment, and sales teams across its North American offices. It plans to establish San Francisco as a second engineering hub alongside its New York headquarters.
Housing and healthcare are the two largest expenses for American households and among the industries least served by technology. Both run on thin margins, heavy regulation, and staff who have to spend much of their day on administrative work rather than on the people they serve. EliseAI was founded on the idea that fixing how these industries operate is the way to make them more accessible and affordable for the people who depend on them.
In housing, EliseAI builds AI for every stage of renting a home. Its technology helps housing providers automate workflows across leasing, resident services, maintenance, and renewals.
