PAIR lets anyone deploy a fixed-supply token that is paired, from its first block, with a basket of up to five canonical Robinhood Stock Tokens, so a new community token trades against Apple, Tesla, NVIDIA or the S&P 500 instead of a gas coin. In the five days since the multipool protocol went live on August 26, PAIR has surpassed $26 million in all-time trading volume, processed more than 160,000 trades, distributed more than $180,000 in creator rewards, and launched its own protocol token, $PAIR.
Stop Launching Against ETH
Every launchpad of the last cycle priced new tokens in a volatile gas coin. PAIR replaces that quote asset with tokenized equities. Robinhood Stock Tokens are canonical on-chain representations of listed stocks and ETFs, live on Robinhood Chain with Robinhood’s distribution behind them, and PAIR is the first launchpad that pairs new tokens with those equities from block one.

Memecoins proved the demand for on-chain launches. Stocks are simply the better quote asset. PAIR puts the two together. The first wave of on-chain equities was people holding stocks; the second wave is what gets built on top of them. PAIR is where that starts: the layer where stock tokens stop being things you hold and start being things you use.
Born Married to a Stock: How a Launch Works
A PAIR launch is one atomic transaction. When a creator hits Launch, the PairLaunchpadV5Upgradeable contract on Robinhood Chain:
- Deploys a new ERC-20 token with a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens.
- Creates one to five Uniswap v4 pools, one for each Stock Token the creator selected, with allocations that total exactly 100 percent.
- Seeds every pool with concentrated single-sided liquidity at an oracle-derived opening price.
- Optionally executes a developer buy, a paid market purchase in one selected pool, and delivers those tokens to the creator’s wallet.
- Locks every liquidity position permanently in PairV4Locker.
- Registers the token on-chain so it appears in the PAIR explorer.
If any step fails, none of it happened: no half-deployed token, no orphaned pool, no locked position without a token behind it. The token, the pools, the lock and the pairing all exist in the same block or not at all. The protocol launch fee is 0.0005 ETH, and a launch takes under a minute.
Creators can pair against 24 canonical Robinhood Stock Tokens today: AAPL, AMC, AMD, AMZN, BABA, BE, CRCL, CRWV, GOOGL, INTC, META, MSFT, MU, NVDA, ORCL, PLTR, QQQ, SGOV, SLV, SNDK, SPCX, SPY, TSLA and USAR.
There is no bonding curve, no price ceiling and no migration. The pool a token trades in at second one is the pool it trades in at year five. Graduation on PAIR is an informational on-chain milestone, recorded at launch as 4.2 ETH multiplied by the ETH/USD price, that any account can trigger permissionlessly once locked principal reaches the target. It flips a flag. It moves nothing.
The Multipool: One Token, a Whole Basket
PAIR is the first launchpad to enable multipool deployment, where a token is quoted against a basket of canonical stock tokens at the same time, all powered by Uniswap v4 hooks. Traders can watch the quote pairs cycle through on trading terminals such as GMGN.
“ETFs took 30 years to let normal people hold a basket of stocks. The multipool does it in one transaction,” the PAIR team wrote at launch. “Pick your basket of stock tokens, pair a token to it, done. A community index anyone can join. Your grandfather had the S&P. You have a contract address.”
A multipool token’s market cap is computed by converting each pool’s price to USD through the corresponding stock oracle, combining those prices by the token’s configured market weights, and multiplying by the fixed supply. The result is a token whose floor is set by several equities at once rather than one. Blue chips provide a floor that holds, penny stocks provide volatility nobody has packaged before, and a single pool can hold both. Every basket built on PAIR is an asset class that did not exist the day before.
The design opens use cases well beyond memecoins:
- Community indexes. A token paired one-third each to AAPL, MSFT and NVDA is a community index that anyone can join with one contract address.
- DAO treasuries. DAO treasuries are famously 95 percent their own governance token, and one drawdown turns the war chest into a war pamphlet. Multipools let treasuries hold positions paired to real equities without leaving the chain: diversification without the off-ramp.
- Fan tokens with a floor. Fan tokens failed because loving a team gave you a coin backed by nothing. On PAIR, a community token can be paired to the parent company’s stock token: fandom on top, equity underneath. Loyalty deserves a floor.
- New DeFi primitives. Stock tokens as raw material for LP pairs, structured products and launchpads changes what is possible to design, and the 24/7 market alone creates mechanics that could not exist before.
Penny Stocks, Weekend Markets and the Case for Balance
On August 30, PAIR integrated AMC Entertainment Holdings as its first penny-stock pair, and a token launched on PAIR sent AMC trending across X over the weekend. With the equity market closed and no market makers on the other side, the on-chain price ran 35 times past the real one. PAIR’s position is that this is exactly why multipools exist: a token paired to one stock lives and dies by that stock’s liquidity, while a token paired to a basket lets no single pair set the floor. AMC can go 35x on a Saturday and it is one slice of the basket, cushioned by NVDA, TSLA and the deep pairs around it. Balance is the product.
PAIR is adding a peg guard, so a stock token drifting too far from its last close pauses new launches until it is back in range, and risk labels so traders see a premium before they buy rather than after. The team has reached out to on-chain market makers about weekend coverage, while Robinhood Crypto is adding liquidity on its side. Weekends showed the problem. Multipools are the answer.
Trading Across the Basket
For multipool tokens, PAIR’s interface defaults to AUTO routing through PairV5MultiPoolAggregator, a permissionless execution contract that balances one buy or sell across up to five canonical pools with USDG as the common input or output asset. The aggregator quotes every leg, rejects routes with more than 15 percent live price impact, uses a split only when the expected improvement justifies the extra gas, applies per-leg and aggregate minimum-output protection, and re-quotes and simulates immediately before the wallet signs. Traders who prefer a single market can select a ticker such as AAPL or NVDA and trade that one pool directly, spending or receiving the Stock Token itself. A 1 percent swap fee applies to every trade.
Designed to Remove Every Seam
“Every launchpad failure I have studied happened at a seam,” said Tugg. “The moment a bonding curve ends. The block where liquidity migrates. The admin key that could pull the LP. The bot that was supposed to stop snipers. Each seam is a place where the system briefly depends on something other than the contract doing what it says. PAIR V5 is what you get when you remove the seams one at a time.”
- No bonding curve. Tokens trade in a real Uniswap v4 pool from the first swap, funded in the launch transaction. There is no synthetic phase.
- No migration. Graduation is a flag, not a liquidity event.
- No ceiling. Liquidity runs in a continuous range toward Uniswap’s extreme usable tick.
- No pullable liquidity. Every v4 position is locked in PairV4Locker permanently. Locked liquidity used to be a promise on a Telegram pin; on PAIR it is a contract address.
- Anti-snipe, built in. There is no transfer tax and no operator-run bot. For the launch block and the next five blocks, the token contract itself enforces two hard caps: no single buy over 5.5 percent of supply and no wallet over 5.0 percent. Sells are never restricted, and both caps lift automatically with no admin action.
- No custodian. Non-custodial is a word people put in bios. On PAIR it means the user’s wallet signs everything, PAIR never holds funds, liquidity is locked forever, and the graduation call is permissionless.
Wallet authentication is provided by Privy. All contracts are deployed and verified on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663); the V5 launchpad proxy is 0x8660A7F019C7943b0b0A91B8E39AFf3b6DB6Ae62, and the complete address list is published at pair.fund/docs. PAIR Labs will never ask users to interact with an unverified contract.
Fees That Flow to Creators
The 1 percent swap fee on every trade accrues inside each locked liquidity position. Collection is permissionless, and collected fees are split 70 percent to the token’s creator and 30 percent to the protocol treasury, claimable per asset from the PAIR interface. Since launch, more than $180,000 in creator rewards have been distributed.
Five Days of Momentum
PAIR first went live on July 21, 2026, with single-pair launches verified through Uniswap v3. The multipool protocol, PAIR V5, went live on August 26. Since then:
- All-time trading volume passed $6 million on August 29, $15 million on August 30 and $26 million on August 31, with more than 160,000 trades and over 1,200 tokens launched across all protocol versions. Live statistics, powered by Dune, are published at pair.fund/stats.
- Ten tokens have graduated, including PAIR, ABSOLUTE CINEMA (paired to AMC), Chips Party Pack (NVDA, AMD, INTC and MU), PEAR (AAPL, MSFT and NVDA) and X Holdings (SPCX and TSLA).
- PAIR has applied for listings on GMGN, Axiom, Trading Terminal and CoinGecko, and its token metadata is served in the DexScreener Token Info schema so aggregators display icons and social links automatically.
- The team hosted its first X Spaces, shipped a streamlined interface, and scaled its indexer under launch-day demand.
The launch lands in a strong market. Robinhood Chain has passed $25 billion in cumulative DEX volume and 100 million transactions, with $1.5 billion of that volume in Robinhood Stock Tokens, and Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev has described tokenization as the beginning of a supercycle that will take over the entire financial system. PAIR intends to be one of the teams pioneering what that supercycle makes possible.
The $PAIR Protocol Token
PAIR’s protocol token, $PAIR, went live on August 29 at contract address 0x6b1d42927b1a84ec28fa88d4fc6fa7af404966be on Robinhood Chain, launched through the platform itself and paired to SPY. Ninety percent of protocol fees go to buying back the token; the remaining 10 percent onboards new creators, funds marketing and improves launchpad infrastructure.
Buybacks began immediately. Within its first 24 hours, PAIR bought back and burned more than $15,000 of $PAIR, followed by an $80,000 burn in a single transaction and a further $10,000 burn, all sent to the Robinhood ecosystem dead wallet used by launchpad protocols on the chain. A buyback tracker is being added to the PAIR statistics page so every burn is transparent on-chain. $PAIR has graduated on its own platform and traded more than $6 million in volume in the past 24 hours.
Builders First: PAIR Spotlight and the Builder Fund
PAIR has introduced PAIR Spotlight, a weekly program putting $3,000 (1.25 ETH) behind one to three of the most interesting launches on the platform, focused on creators building real communities. A broader builder fund was announced on August 29, with builder bounties increasing through the coming days. Within hours of the announcement, the team received more than 35 inbound requests from founders who want to launch on PAIR. Founders with a working product move to the front of the line.
Developers can build on PAIR’s public read-only API, documented at pair.fund/docs, which exposes tokens, trades, OHLCV candles, fee balances, profiles and platform statistics. Why Robinhood Chain

Through the collaboration, PAIR plans to scale the off-chain services that surround its contracts on AWS as launch volume grows: the indexer that keeps the explorer in sync with Robinhood Chain, the public API, the oracle keeper that refreshes stock and ETH prices on-chain, and the image and metadata services read by aggregators such as DexScreener and GMGN. It also connects PAIR to AWS’s global partner ecosystem as tokenized equities move from thesis to product.
